RSTB. Travel at public expense using the RSTB is only authorised by HQ ASCB for Army and Corps Representative Sports fixtures and later stages of Army Championships in accordance with 2017DIN10-023

OSV.  Travel at public expense is not authorised for OSVs, which must be entirely funded from non-public funds.  Authority for OSVs and on duty status must be obtained from HQ ASCB in accordance with 2016DIN10-048.

IMT. Individual Military Training

NIL (Unit  Sports Fixtures including Intra Corps Fixtures).  With Budget Holder approval, travel at public expense for units conducting Category 1 and 2 sports fixtures can be authorised by the chain of commanTravel Ad using the Unit Travel Budget in accordance with JSP 752, Part 2, Chapter 4, Section 2.

Inter Services Angling 2015

On Friday the 3rd of July 2013 at Forest Lane Fishery, Yorkshire, 3 teams of 10 from the Army, RAF and Royal Navy/ Royal Marines took part in this year’s InterServices Coarse Angling Championship.

Once again Fosters Team Army put on a dominant display and managed to win with 14 points, this consisted of no less than 6 section wins.  The RAF were took the runners up spot with 18 points and the Royal Navy/ Royal Marines had 28 points.

The winning team consisted of (left to Right) Sgt Ben Bentley, WO2 Grant Wilde (Manager), Sgt Martin Cullip, Capt Gus Brindle, Sgt Gaz Arnold, SSgt Tez Proud, Cpl Gaz Evans (Captain), WO1 Mick Quance, Cpl Danny Moonesamy, Sgt Nick McCartney, WO2 Danny Jones and SSgt Chris Perry.

4 Way Challenge 2015 Army 'A' Team winners

On Wednesday 18th March 2015 six teams of 8 anglers from the Army, Navy, RAF and DSRA descended upon Tunnel Barn Farm fishery near Warwick.  It was won with a comprehensive gap by the Army ‘A’ team with 40 points, the team consisted of Capt Kev East, Capt Gus Brindle, SSgt Chris Perry, Sgt Ben Bentley, Cpl Gaz Evans (Capt), Cpl Danny Moonesamy, LCpl Rikki Richards and LCpl Scott Rispin.

The Navy were second beating the RAF into third, both teams had 32 points but the Navy pipped it by section count back.

On the individual front the top 3 were

  Sgt B Bentley Army A 68lb 6oz
  Mr N Lumb DSRA 59lb 3oz

4 Way Challenge 2015

BURTON WINTER LEAGUE 2015

Fosters Team Army are currently 4th in the Burton Winter League that is taking place on the Trent and Mersey canal, there are 14 teams competing and Fosters Team Army are led by Shakespeare Super Team, Shakespear Agility and Matrix Matchmen and there are plenty of other top teams in the league..  

Team captain WO2 Grant Wilde said that there is still a long way to go, but is delighted with the team’s performance to date.
